Economy in Beypazari
Agriculture, commerce, livestock, industry and
artcrafts supports Beypazari economy all together. In its history,
It was a trade center which 10 thousand people came every week. It
exports Angora goat's wool and rice to England, because it was on
the Ankara-Istanbul way called as Silk Road.
After second world war, economic crisis in the
world affected Beypazarı and people in Beypazari started to develop
in agriculture instead of commerce. Now %67 of population work in
agriculture sector.
Agriculture
%70 of the population work in agriculture thanks
to its fertile soil. Vegetable need of big cities like Ankara and
Istanbul is obtained from Beypazari. The main products are tomatoe,
spinach, cucumber, lettuce, pepper, radish and carrot. Beypazari aims
organic agriculture without using any chemicals while producing
them. Beypazari provides the carrot need of Turkey at %60
percentage. Subsidiary products of carrot like carrot jam and carrot
